We have heard that Taiwanese manufacturer Acer working on unveiling a minimum of four new smartphones over at IFA that is kicking off in Berlin early next month, and here we are with a leaked photo of one of the handsets. It looks like the Android-powered Acer Liquid Z630 (which means it will not run on the Windows platform) will sport a rather generous 5.5″ 720p IPS display that should be easy on the eyes, in addition to a MediaTek MT6735 chipset. With this SoC, one would be staring down a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex-A53 processor that is accompanied by a Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM.
As for the rest of the device, it will sport LTE connectivity, dual SIM card slots, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP shooter at the back with an 8MP shooter in front, and a 4,000mAh battery to keep it going, where it should carry a €200 price tag.
As for the Acer Liquid Z530, that model ought to feature a 5″ 720p IPS display as well as a similar MediaTek MT6735 chip with 2GB of RAM. Expect to be able to take advantage of LTE connectivity, where the entire shebang is going to be affordable at approximately €140 a pop.
