Just a couple of days ago a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was released, even though fans welcome any opportunity to take a sneak peek at the upcoming title it wasn’t the trailer that many of them have been waiting for. The final launch trailer is being edited by Hideo Kojima who has now confirmed that this Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain trailer is going to be released on August 25th.
It’s not there is any shortage of teasers or trailers for this title but the fan base is anxiously waiting to see the trailer that Kojima has been working on.
Sony released a new trailer recently which was mostly made up of footage cut from previous titles, it basically focused on one of the biggest reasons why fans are waiting for the new title to drop.
Kojima confirmed today through Twitter that work on the trailer that he has been editing is almost finished, he also revealed that the new trailer will be released on August 25th U.S. time and August 26th Japan time.
Fans will no doubt be excited to see what Kojima has done with this trailer, and for all we know this could very well be the last Metal Gear Solid trailer that we ever see from the great man himself.
