However according to a report from Japanese blog Rbmen (via BGR), they have posted a screenshot of an alleged benchmark of the iPhone 6s, which as you can see in the image above points to the fact that the handset will only come with 1GB of RAM. No doubt this is very disappointing news for would-be iPhone owners.
That being said, this is only a screenshot which could have easily been faked and photoshopped. Also benchmarks can be faked as well, although whoever fakes it would have to go through more trouble to do so, but it is possible. It could very well be an early prototype too, which is one of the possibilities.
In any case this new information is best taken with a grain of salt for now, but considering the source of the 2GB of RAM is from none other than 9to5Mac who’s had a pretty decent track record so far as far as Apple rumors are concerned, we might be more inclined to believe them, although maybe you should temper your expectations and wait for the official announcement.
