This is according to recent data by an app analytics firm who claims that a certain “iPad6,8” has made an appearance in its logs, and that it contains a screen resolution of 2732×2048, similar to what we have heard in the past. For those who are wondering if this might be the resolution of the iPad Air, it isn’t as the iPad Air 2 has a resolution of 2048×1536.
Unless Apple has decided to give the next-gen iPad Air a boost in resolution, chances are this resolution is in reference to the iPad Pro. That being said, at the end of the day this resolution will give the iPad Pro the same PPI as the other iPads, thanks to its 12.9-inch display which ultimately makes its PPI 263, similar to Apple’s other Retina iPads.
As for the other rumored features, it has been suggested that the iPad Pro could come with a Force Touch-enabled stylus. Previously leaked schematics and cases have also hinted that we could look forward to additional speaker grills, but other than that not much is known about the device, but hopefully we will hear more from Apple soon.
