There’s a lot of excitement in the Xbox community given that a new Halo title is coming out later this year. It’s a pretty big deal for Microsoft as well which is pulling out all the stops to promote this Xbox exclusive title. As part of its announcements at Gamescom Microsoft today revealed that a limited edition Halo 5 Xbox One console is going to be released this October.
The Xbox One Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition bundles comes with 1TB of storage as well as a copy of the title itself. It also features a uniquely designed Spartan themed Steel Book and a Guardian model by Metal Earth. A standard headset is also included in this bundle.
Microsoft took inspiration from the game itself when developing this limited edition console and it features blue detailing that’s in line with Halo 5: Guardian’s graphics on both the console and the controller.
The company has also launched a Master Chief themed controller separately which has gold triggers that take inspiration from the Chief’s visor and the same color as his body armor, the controller will be available for $69.99 on its own.
Xbox One Halo: 5 Guardians bundle is only going to be available for a limited time, it’s available for pre-order right now for $499.99 and it will be released on October 20th a full week before Halo 5: Guardians is released on October 27th, 2015.
