Now if you’re an avid user of the Chrome browser, you might be interested to learn that Google could be bringing its Material Design language over to your browser’s toolbar, as noted by the folks at OMG! Chrome!. As you can see in the screenshot above, it looks a bit flatter compared to that of your normal toolbar.
However it still does not look quite as Material Design compared to Google’s other apps, because Google has created several versions, such as going completely Material or going hybrid, which honestly looks like it will blend nicely with the rest of the browser, although the website notes that the differences aren’t very obvious anyway.
That being said, these changes are only available as part of the dev channel release meaning that unless you’re running Chrome Dev on your computer, chances are you will have to wait for Google to release the full version before you get to try it for yourself, although right now we can’t say for sure when that will be.
