The company says that with Hangouts it wants to help users stay in the moment no matter what device they’re using or if they’re texting, talking or sending a video message. It has released an overhauled Hangouts app today which brings some of those improvements.
Hangouts 4.0 is now sleeker since it has been updated with Material Design elements, there’s a completely new look and feel and items are more responsive to the touch with new transitions that makes tasks more fluid.
