Final Fantasy fans who have been waiting for the next title arrive take note, game director Hajime Tabata has provided an update about the release of this title. Previously it was said that the title won’t be released before 2017 but there’s news now on the Final Fantasy 15 release date, according to Tabata this game is going to be released in the coming year.
Tabata was asked when Square Enix planned on releasing Final Fantasy 15 and while he didn’t provide a specific release date he did say that he’s certain the title won’t be coming out this year.
He was asked about plans to reassure fans who haven’t been particularly excited about the announcements from Gamescom, Tabata admits that fans would have liked to see more at the convention.
Then comes a reassurance, “we’ve set down the release date, we know when it is,” he says adding that a complete road map is already lined up and they’re proceeding as per that road map.
Tabata then offered the best hint yet about a potential release, he confirmed that Final Fantasy 15 won’t be released in 2017 instead it will be released next. Now we only have to find out when in 2016 will this title be released.
