When Fallout Shelter was first launched, many were surprised as to how popular the game proved to be. In fact just on iOS alone, it managed to pull in a whopping $5.1 million from in-app purchases within its first two weeks alone, but in case you’re a bit bored of the game and doing the same thing everyday, you’re in luck.
Bethesda has recently pushed out an update to the game where it will introduce a bunch of fixes, balancing, and also some new character and enemies that will make your experience more entertaining. Starting with the new characters, there will be the introduction of a character called Mr. Handy.
This is a robot assistant that can be used to collect resources inside your Vault. Alternatively he can also be sent outside to the wasteland to collect caps. He can also be used to help defend your Vault against raiders, such as the newly introduced Deathclaw invasions. Other changes to the game include bug fixes and balancing.
For example the living quarters which is used to breed new Vault dwellers has been tweaked to be less effective, meaning that you will churn out new dwellers on a less frequent basis, giving players an easier time to manage their Vault. The game is available on iOS and has also recently been released for Android.
