Patch 2.3 for Diablo 3 is a patch that we have been hearing about for a while now. The patch will introduce a host of changes to the game such as introducing new items, one of which is Kanai’s Cube, named after one of Blizzard’s recently deceased employees, which is also basically Diablo 3’s take on the Horadric Cube from Diablo 2.
That being said if you were excited to see all the changes that Blizzard has made to the game with Patch 2.3, you’re in luck because Blizzard has officially announced the release of the patch, so if you are curious about it then you will want to fire up the Battle.net launcher to update your game to it.
Like we said the patch will introduce a host of changes, with one of the changes being a new area called the Ruins of Sescheron. According to Blizzard, “Filled with new enemies, traps, and environmental hazards, you’ll be able to explore the region and learn more about what befell the barbarians of Mount Arreat. Explore the Immortal Throne and obtain the ultimate treasure: Kanai’s Cube.”
Blizzard has also made some changes in terms of assigning hotkeys, so now there will be additional skills that can be bound to your left mouse button. There is also your standard bug fixes and class balancing, so overall it is a pretty hefty patch that should be worth checking out. To find out more, check out the video above for the details.
