Additional Ashley Madison Data Leaked

It looks like things are getting from bad to worse for some cheaters where the Ashley Madison hack is involved, as apart from sensitive data within being released and made searchable, it looks like the same group who did the hacking has spiced things up even more by posting what is set to be an additional 20GB of data, where among them include emails of the CEO’s inbox.

Impact Team (the group who hacked Ashley Madison) are certainly living up to their name, and they posted a 10GB file that contains data from the popular website where married folks sign up in order to look for a little zest outside of their marriage. Additional customer data files have been released since, including what are deemed to be email boxes from a handful of the company’s top executives, at least according to Wired magazine.

The company itself claims that this posting is “an act of criminality”, where a statement mentioned, “It is an illegal action against the individual members of AshleyMadison.com, as well as any freethinking people who choose to engage in fully lawful online activities.” Depending on where one’s morality stands, the Ashley Madison website should not even be there in the first place as it violates the sanctity of a marriage, and hence, certain quarters might see it as just desserts.
