The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a large phone. It has a larger display than the Galaxy S6 which means that in theory, it would take more power to keep it on. However if you were hoping for a larger battery for the Galaxy Note 5, you might be disappointed. According to the folks at Droid-Life, they have gotten their hands on some leaked photos and some additional info about the upcoming device.
According to them, they have been told that the Galaxy Note 5 will come with a 3,000mAh battery. While 3,000mAh by itself is pretty big, the fact that the Note 5 has a larger display with a rumored QHD resolution, we were kind of hoping it would be bigger. After all no one likes running out of juice in the middle of the day, right?
Also according to their source, the phone is said to not come with microSD which corroborates what we have heard previously. The leaked photos also shows off the design of the handset which once again is in line with earlier leaks, and based on what we can tell, it’s a unibody design meaning that it does not look like the backplate can be removed, so swappable batteries and microSD is pretty much confirmed a no-go.
In any case take it with a grain of salt for now since there is always the off-chance that the photos and rumors could be wrong. However Samsung will be hosting an event on the 13th of August where presumably all will be revealed, so do check back with us then for the details.
