A few days ago we reported that thanks to a leak, renderings of the LG Nexus (2015) was leaked online. The renderings showed off a smartphone that looks nothing like the Nexus 5 along with a huge circular space on the back which was speculated to be where the fingerprint sensor would be placed at.
Now if you’re wondering what the phone looks like in real life, you’re in luck as a post on Google+ by Inno Yudha has revealed the handset in the flesh, as you can see in the image above, and it seems that the renders appear to have been pretty accurate and the real life photo does really look like what we’ve seen previously.
We’re not sure how the fingerprint sensor will work as based on the photo, it looks like a piece of plastic with a raised circle around it. However we could be wrong and that the sensor is actually embedded into it already, but given the nature of the photo and the quality it’s quite hard to tell, but presumably that’s where the fingerprint sensor is supposed to go.
Like we said earlier, the LG Nexus (2015) looks nothing like the Nexus 5 and it seems to suggest a whole new direction in terms of design that LG is taking, which is a good thing. No word on when the phone will launch but hopefully it will be soon. In the meantime renderings of the Huawei Nexus have also made their way online.
