Alienware, an extension of Dell, has teamed up with Zero Latency in order to bring the virtual reality experience to life for folks over in Melbourne. Thanks to Alienware’s Alpha custom technology, it will be able to ensure that those who are interested will be able to indulge themselves in Zero Latency’s gameplay experience.
Gamers would certainly be no stranger to Alienware, who happen to be the leader in high-powered gaming systems, and this partnership with Zero Latency will see players gain the ability to be able to engage in multiplayer virtual reality gaming in 400 square metres of space, leaving plenty to the imagination. I suppose this is somewhat like RPGs – except that it is done in a digital manner, rather than just sitting in a table with a group of people using their imagination to do the work for you.
Zero Latency’s state of the art wireless technology and motion tracking will also up the ante when it comes to the overall level of immersion, and it claims to be the only multiplayer full freedom wireless virtual reality experience. Expect Zero Latency to be open on the 15th of August officially in Melbourne. If you’re free on that day and happen to be Down Under, why not give it a go? [Press Release]
