This has since been confirmed by Samsung in a statement made to The Verge, in which they basically state that the listings were made in error and that the websites that list it should have been updated with the correct information now. While cloud storage and music streaming are perfect ways of ensuring your local device storage is kept free, some users prefer to keep their data with them as it makes it easier to access, especially when you’re not connected. Combine that with the fact that there is no microSD card support either, suddenly users who are used to expandable memory will have to find new ways to juggle their storage space.
We’re not sure if Samsung ever plans on introducing a 128GB model further down the line, but so far many seem to be pretty on board with the idea so who knows?
