The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S would continue from where its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Band, left off, and it has duly been photographed by the National Communication Commission (NCC) over in Taiwan. Getting certified in Taiwan can only mean one thing – it should be well on its way to be released to the masses, but the exact release date remains unknown just yet.
Similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Mi Band 1S will not come with any kind of display, so you will need to rely on the smartphone’s screen which has been paired to the Mi Band 1S. Apart from that, it will come with the model number MI XMSH02HM. If history is anything to go by, it should be priced somewhere in the region of $12, and hopefully it will perform as well as the original Xiaomi Mi Band that shipped over 6 million units.
