Microsoft’s Windows 10 is now live and for some of you guys who were lucky enough to have installed the update, you should probably know that there is a patch on its way, but for those who haven’t, fret not because you can always force the update. Now as it stands, Windows 10 is said to weigh in at around 6GB.
However like we said, a patch is on its way and it is a rather hefty one. According to reports, it seems that the upcoming patch will weigh in at 1GB meaning that this is more than just your average patch, but then again this is the day one patch for Microsoft’s brand new operating system so we reckon there are probably a ton of things to fix.
So far according to reviews, many have reacted positively to Windows 10, with some calling it the upgrade that Windows 7 should have gotten (instead of Windows 8.1). Naturally there are several bugs in the OS which is expected since this is the first time the OS has made its way to so many users, preview notwithstanding, but for the most part it hasn’t impacted the experience negatively.
We expect that over the next few days or even weeks, Microsoft will continue to iron out the kinks that users might have encountered in Windows 10, so this patch will probably not be the last. If you’d rather wait until the OS has become more stable, you’re certainly welcome to.
