However the service has always been somewhat barebones, but the good news is that it like it has recently received an update in which new features and functionality have been added to it. For starters, users are now able to edit their profile photo and change their statuses. Users will also be able to delete one-on-one chats, archive them, mute them, and exit groups.
These updates have been automatically included into the web version so users won’t need to do anything to receive them (unlike the mobile version where you have to update the app to get the new features). Unfortunately as it stands, it seems that the update has not done anything about bringing it onto iOS devices.
As it stands it seems that WhatsApp Web is still only available on ANdroid, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and even Symbian. Still no word on when the feature will make its way onto iOS devices, but in case you have yet to try it out, head on over to its website for the details on how to start.
