DICE gave us a very good look at Star Wars Battlefront back at the E3 2015 gaming convention last month and undoubtedly this is one of the most highly anticipated titles this year. Today a closed alpha test of this title started and while there’s a policy which limits alpha testers from sharing videos or pictures of the work in progress, some have seen it fit to go around that policy and show off Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage.
Publisher Electronic Arts has barred Battlefront alpha testers from streaming or uploading videos of the gameplay but already not only are there videos available online but some have even launched Twitch streams to live stream the gameplay.
EA has been quick to respond to this by banning alpha testers that are involved in leaking the videos or running the streams, it’s also frantically trying to remove all trace of the videos from the internet, but we know that’s never possible on the internet.
Even though YouTube links have been taken down the Star Wars Battlefront gameplay videos are still available through different sources, with more being added soon after EA takes a few of them down.
From what we can gather after looking at these videos it appears that there’s plenty of Stormtrooper fighting in this title with a laser rifle to help players, alongside mission objects in open terrain maps which also include hologram power-ups that players can pick up as they move around.
