Virtual reality is an up and coming trend with many companies trying to break into this market with their headsets, we already have the likes of Sony, Samsung, Google, Oculus among others working on such products. HTC joined forces with Valve to produce its first VR headset called the HTC Vive and while its public release isn’t going to take place any time soon the company will allow San Diego Comic-Con attendees to take the headset for a spin.
This is the first such event where HTC will be showing off its virtual reality headset, it will he present at the San Diego Comic-Con which runs from July 9-12.
HTC is going to set up a bus at the event with demo units onboard so people who are interested in trying it out simply need to get on the bus and play with it.
San Diego Comic-Con attendees can try the HTC Vive at 530 Island Avenue where HTC will be set up from 10 am to 8 pm every day, but on Sunday it will wrap things up at 6 pm.
HTC does have plans to take this demo bus to other locations as well, it’s expected to make a stop in Louisville, KY from July 17-19 and Seattle, WA from August 2-8.
