Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos To Receive Android 5.1 Lollipop Update
In life, some people are far more popular than the others – and it boils down to a sheer number of factors, ranging from serendipity to social class and status, wealth, personality, charisma, timing, the works. I suppose to a certain extent, some smartphones happen to come with everything that you need and are insanely popular, while there are others that seem to be missing that “single” ingredient, despite having just about everything else that is the same. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos can be said to be such a handset – it might not be a prima donna on the high end side of things right now, but if you were to look at its hardware alone, it should be more than adequate for the above average user, but somehow or rather, it has not been the most popular of devices in the market since its release. Still, it is nice to know that the smartphone is well on its way to receive the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update that will surely provide it with additional “legs” in terms of lifespan.
.This is the dual SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy S6, and since its single SIM sibling has already picked up such an update, it is nice to see the dual SIM model also receive a similar treatment. As usual, the standard precautions will apply – you will need to make sure that there is adequate battery life on the device, make a backup of all your important data, and get the download done via Wi-Fi, as the entire file will weigh in at around 620MB in size.
This new update will bring along with it several unnamed security enhancements, an improved UI and system stability, as well as performance improvements.
