Ah, there is nothing quite like having a piece of hardware that remains technologically relevant despite being in the market for some time already. Those who had faith in the Pebble Time and contributed to it achieve a record-breaking Kickstarter campaign, you will be pleased as punch to hear that the good folks over at Pebble have just rolled out an update for the Pebble Time, as well as the soon-to-ship Pebble Time Steel, where the latter would deliver a higher quality timepiece in terms of materials used, although we keep our fingers crossed that it will happen as claimed.
With the new update, what will Pebble Time users be able to enjoy? For starters, one is now able to make adjustments to the intensity of duration of the watch’s backlight. Apart from that, the length of time that the watch vibrates whenever it notifies the user of an event or call can also be altered to suit your tastes. Last but not least, there is also no worry if you are unable to read what is being shown on the display, since font sizes across the operating system can be adjusted to boot in order to suit your eyes.
The Android version of the Pebble Time app has also picked up a minor update, where some of them include improved support for a range of music apps (Spotify and Songza included), letting the Pebble Time to display track meta data better whenever it synchronizes with those apps. [Press Release]
