We have heard rumors that it could be a 13MP dual-camera setup, although whether or not that is true remains to be seen. However thanks to a photo uploaded by YouTuber Marques Brownlee, we now have a photo sample taken by the phone’s camera, which according to reports and the EXIF information found in the photo, have at the very least confirmed its 13MP sensor.
It is unclear if the phone will indeed go with a dual-camera setup similar to the HTC One M8 which allowed for some interesting bokeh effects, but from what we can tell in the sample, the blur in the background appears to be pretty decent. Now the photo itself is a bit dark, but it could just be due to the overcast skies and the fact that it is unedited.
However the sharpness of the camera and details appear to be pretty decent, but we suppose we’ll need to do a comparison with other phones to get a better idea, but so far so good. In the meantime some of the confirmed specs we do know include a Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM, a metal build, a USB Type-C connector, and a 3,300mAh battery, but remember to check back with us on the 27th of July for the details.
