Merely hours before OnePlus is scheduled to announce its latest handset the OnePlus 2 has been leaked in all its glory. Real images of the device have been leaked online giving us a proper look at the OnePlus One successor, the photographer did a good job with these photos so don’t expect any blurry pictures that show no detail whatsoever. These are some great pictures of the OnePlus 2.
The pictures were leaked by a poster on the Android Central forums and they confirm the device’s metal frame, USB Type-C port and rear-mounted speakers. Volume and power keys can be found on the right with a mute switch on the left. A dual-SIM slot is placed behind the textured back panel.
The forum poster who goes by chinaleakking compares the new handset unfavorably to the OnePlus 2 primarily because of the OxygenOS software and its appearance, but does say that the 13 megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization works nicely.
OnePlus 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 810 and many are wondering if it’s going to face any overheating issues as have been witnessed on other devices powered by this process, OnePlus says it has used the updated version of the 810 which doesn’t have those problems.
The official announcement is merely a few hours away so we’ll get to know all of the specifications then, for now gawk at the images of OnePlus’s “flagship killer” for 2015.
