Tomorrow OnePlus is going to officially announce its second smartphone, over the past few weeks the company has been hard at work to generate hype for the OnePlus 2. It’s going to stick with its invite system this time around as well which is why those who might be interested in picking up a unit should get their name on the OnePlus 2 invite registration list. It will not be possible to purchase the smartphone from OnePlus without an invite at least initially.
OnePlus has already addressed the issues that customers faced with the invite system for OnePlus One, it became quite hard to get an invite in order to purchase that smartphone.
The company promises that this time around it will have up to 50x more inventory as opposed to last year so it will be able to dish out those invites rather quickly. Another way to obtain an invite quickly is to participate in various social media contests that the company will run once the OnePlus 2 is launched.
Simply go over to the OnePlus website if you want to put your name on this list. You may have to wait for a while because seeing as how there are already more than 20,000 people on the list your invite may not arrive as soon as you might be hoping for.
