OnePlus 2 Camera Samples Compared By The Company’s CEO Himself

The OnePlus 2 will be launched on the 27th of July and it seems that they are so sure of themselves that they have billed the phone as being the flagship killer for 2016. Yes, you read that right, they believe it is good enough to take on the likes of 2015 and 2016’s flagship smartphones.

That being said, the company’s CEO Pete Lau had recently uploaded photos belonging to the camera of the OnePlus 2, and to top things off he even compared the photos taken against other flagship phones like the iPhone 6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6. In the photos, basically he pits the handset’s ability to snap photos at night and details captured against the competition.

Based solely on these photos alone, we have to admit that the OnePlus 2’s camera is pretty impressive. The phone appears to be more than capable of capturing details as evidenced in the zoom ins of the photos. It even seems to be better at color reproduction versus the Samsung Galaxy S6.

In terms of night photography, once again it looks like the OnePlus 2 has done a pretty good job. As you can see in the photo samples above, the handset takes photos with considerably less noise than the iPhone 6. However these are just photos taken by one person and extensive reviews upon the handset’s release will probably paint a better picture as to what users can expect, but for now they look pretty decent.
