The OnePlus 2 is expected to be announced later this month and so far the company has teased various specs of the phone leading up to its announcement. However if there is one aspect of the phone we’re still not sure about is its display, which last we heard could be of the 5.7-inch QHD variety.
However if a new rumor is to be believed, there is a good chance we might be disappointed. According to the rumor, courtesy of leaker @KJuma on Weibo, it has been rumored that the phone will instead pack a 5.5-inch Full HD display. If this is true, we have to admit that we will be very disappointed, especially when you consider how many people are looking forward to the device.
OnePlus has a unique standing in the Android community as being sort of an “indie” brand that made waves and managed to hold its own against the likes of the bigger and more established companies out there. However given that this is 2015, many are expecting the phone to have a QHD display at least.
That being said while its display might be potentially disappointing, the phone will be a beast otherwise. It will feature a Snapdragon 810 processor, USB Type-C connectivity, a fingerprint scanner, a metal build, and a whopping 4GB of RAM. The phone will be officially unveiled on the 27th of July so do check back with us then for the details.
