Tomorrow Motorola will officially announce their new phones, which at the moment is speculated to be the Moto X (2015) and the Moto G (2015). Now in terms of specs of Motorola’s next-gen flagship, nothing has been confirmed yet but according to the rumors, the display of the next-gen Moto X is said to be of the QHD variety.
This would be a logical assumption since most flagship smartphones these days are going with QHD, but if that’s what you were hoping for, you might be disappointed. According to a recent post by leaker HelloMotoHK, it seems that the Moto X (2015) might not feature such a display after all, instead it might only pack a Full HD display.
The post claims that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display which while disappointing, we totally understand if it is a means to cut costs and also to save battery. Speaking of battery, HelloMotoHK also claims that the Moto X will sport a whopping 3,600mAh battery which should help it last quite a while on a single charge.
Other rumored specs include a 21MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, a SIM + microSD card slot, and will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop preinstalled. Be sure to take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us tomorrow to see if there are any official details to be had.
