Motorola has recently tweeted that on the 28th of July at 9AM ET, they will be livestreaming the event. This means that if you wanted to see and hear for yourself what Motorola is up to instead of reading about it the next day, you can tune into the stream for yourself. The event will be streamed on Motorola’s website so you’ll want to bookmark that page for future reference.
In the meantime it has been speculated that Motorola will most likely use the event to announce the next-gen Moto G and the next-gen Moto X, both of which have been subjected to a fair bit of leaks and rumors in the past couple of weeks. It is possible that other products could also be announced during that time, but for now those two handsets appear to be the most likely.
From what we know, the Moto G (2015) will see upgraded hardware but will retain its price tag and also gain access to the Moto Maker customization tool. The Moto X (2015) on the other hand is also expected to feature upgraded hardware, but to date there doesn’t seem to be anything compelling about its features, but we suppose come 28th of July we will find out more.
