Moto G (2015) Moto Maker Customization Options Leaked

If you’re a budget-conscious shopper, chances are you are probably looking forward to the next-gen Moto G handset, which not only features improved specs but will most likely be keeping its affordable price tag as well. Now one of the interesting features we have heard about the handset is its access to Moto Maker.

For those unfamiliar, Moto Maker is a customization tool that Motorola has released for handsets like the Moto X, so by releasing it for the upcoming Moto G, it will be the first time Motorola will be allowing non-flagship smartphones access to it, which we suppose is a good thing since users, regardless of budget, wouldn’t mind customizing their phones.

Previously we weren’t too sure of what kind of features users could customize for the Moto G (2015), but thanks to a leak we have a better idea. As you can see in the screenshot above, basically it sounds like the front and rear housing of the phone can be customized, although the former will be limited to a black or white finish.

There also appears to be accents that users can customize as well, along with additional flipshell options that will cost users an extra $20. There is also mention of 2GB of RAM which is odd since we had thought the Moto G (2015) would come with 1GB, so either the rumors were wrong or we might be treated to two different models. In any case more will be revealed on the 28th of July so check back with us then for the details.
