The Moto G has made quite a name for itself as a very robust budget Android device which is why it’s not surprising to see Motorola release a new iteration every year. So far the company hasn’t said much about the Moto G 2015 but if recent reports are to be believed it may be launched in the near future. Today specifications of the Moto G 2015 have been rumored.
The Moto G 2015 is said to feature a 5 inch 720p HD IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood there might be a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB RAM and Cat 4 LTE. There will be 16GB and 32GB storage options as well as the ability to expand externally using microSD cards up to 32GB.
Like its predecessor the Moto G 2015 is expected to have an 8 megapixel rear camera that has a new Sony sensor with f2.2 aperture and being able to shoot 1080p video at 30fps.
Powering the entire package will be a 2,400mAh battery which will be sufficient for a smartphone of this calibre, its international variant is going to have support for dual-SIM as well.
One can wager that when this device arrives it will be running on the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system which is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
