According to the company, starting from today they will known as “Logi”. Now for a company that makes tech products, why drop the tech from its name? Well according to the company’s VP of brand development Charlotte Johs, it is because the tech is implied. Speaking to Gizmodo, Johs said, “Tech is everywhere. Tech is in the air you breathe…it’s in your clothes…in the future, ‘tech’ doesn’t say anything.”
That being said, it seems that the Logitech brand won’t be dying out anytime soon. We suppose not all customers have been clued in to Logitech’s rebranding yet which is why in the near future, the company is expected to continue churning out devices that relies on the Logitech brand, but if all goes well the next time you see the Logi brand, know that it is actually the company formerly known as Logitech. So, what do you guys make of this rebranding and new logo?
