The handset managed to score 78 out of 100 in terms of performance, and interestingly enough despite the fact that LG isn’t as mainstream a brand compared to Apple and Samsung, it managed to beat out both the flagships of Apple and Samsung, with the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 ranked fifth together.
Now some might debate the rankings of Consumer Reports and we suppose that is your prerogative, but it’s good to see LG starting to gain more recognition throughout the years. The company has largely been looked at as a Samsung competitor who typically falls short, but in the past year or so, LG has really stepped up their game, what with handsets like the LG G3, LG G4, and let’s not forget the Nexus 5.
LG is also rumored to be working on one of the two Nexus phones this year and it remains to be seen how well-received that particular phone will be. In the meantime do you agree with the ranks? Is the LG G4 deserving of being ranked higher than the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6?
