The world of smartwatches do seem to be gaining traction, although the Apple Watch did not really manage to take off in such a big way as expected. Well, we have word that Huawei’s first Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the Huawei Watch, might very well have had its box leaked. The timepiece was originally spotted at MWC 2015 earlier this year in March, but it has had several obstacles to overcome before being released. The leaked image of the box as shown on the right point to a textured exterior, complete with the Huawei logo embossed into the top of the packaging.
Underneath the hood, you will be able to find the Huawei Watch name within that is lettered in gold. It does look as though the folks over at Huawei has placed an extremely high value on the externals and aesthetics, hoping that such a look will translate into similar quality for the timepiece itself.
As for the Huawei Watch, it is set to arrive with a 1.4” AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400, amounting to a pixel density of 286ppi. Powered by a Snapdragon 400 chip at 1.3GHz, it has 512MB RAM within, accompanied by 4GB of internal memory, having a 42mm stainless steel case in silver, gold or black, and a 300mAh battery.
