HP doesn’t want to wait around for other manufacturers to take the ball, the company is going to start shipping some of its PCs that come with Windows 10 preinstalled ahead of the actual launch of Windows 10. Microsoft is going to officially launch Windows 10 on July 29th and HP’s new PCs are going to arrive before that. The company has already started taking pre-orders for those products.
Customers who are interested in getting their hands on such a product can go to HP.com and purchase select PCs that have Windows 10 preinstalled. HP is offering free next-day shipping with each product so that customers can receive these products quickly.
The company will start shipping these orders on July 28th and with one day free shipping they will reach customers on July 29th, precisely the day when Microsoft starts rolling out Windows 10 digitally. Box copies will be available at a later date.
Customers who would rather wait until these products appear at select retailers across the country will be able to purchase them starting August 2nd.
This puts HP one day ahead of Dell which already announced a couple of weeks back that its Windows 10 PCs will start shipping on July 29th and customers will get them by July 30th.
