The Google Glass is dead, long live Google Glass. Yes, earlier this week, we did bring you word on how there might very well be an upcoming new model of Google Glass which intends to continue from where it left off earlier on, bearing the model number GG1. Well, this upcoming version of Google Glass is tipped to carry the “EE” label, which stands for Enterprise Edition. One of the expected changes would be the use of a larger prism which hopefully, will be able to help reduce the amount of overall eye strain.
This larger prism will enable Glass users to look directly up rather than looking to the right and up, and for those who have had spent their fair amount of time with Google Glass before, they claim that the screen itself is improved, although there has yet to be any concrete evidence available that the overall screen resolution has been improved.
An unknown Intel Atom chipset will keep the Google Glass Enterprise Edition up and running, where it is said to be faster than even the high end Android Wear-powered timepieces of today. Not only that, there will also be Wi-Fi connectivity in the 2.5GHz and 5GHz bands thrown into the mix, as well as a larger capacity cell, although it is not going to pack enough juice to last an entire day’s use without a recharge some time in the middle.
