Apparently, there is a brand new tool for Gmail which will allow you to revoke access to messages as and when you please. Known as Dmail, it happens to be a new browser extension for Google Chrome which will allow you a greater degree of control on your sent emails. For instance, you can set a specific time when the message will self-destruct, which can be anywhere from an hour to an entire week.
In fact, should there be no specific self-destruct timer attached to an email, you can still recall it at any time you please, meaning the recipient will not be able to view it. This Chrome extension was developed by the folks behind the social bookmarking service known as Delicious, and in due time, the team intends to see this feature extend itself to include the likes of documents. Looks like this complements Gmail’s Undo Send pretty well.
