There have been many reports recently which suggest that Samsung will soon launch new tablets to prop up its high-end tablet lineup, the Galaxy Tab S 2 and Galaxy Tab E are both expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. After many rumors and leaks, we have another one today concerning the price of these tablet, which obviously is an important factor that people consider before making a purchase.
It is rumored that the Galaxy Tab S 2 8.0 Wi-Fi only variant and the Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 will cost $449 and $549 respectively, with the 4G LTE compatible model of the Galaxy Tab S 2 9.7 costing around $649.
These tablets will feature an Exynos 5433 processor from Samsung with 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Super AMOLED display with 2,048×1,536 pixel resolution as well as Wi-Fi ac/b/g/b in a metallic frame that’s just 5.4mm thin. The 9.7 inch and 8 inch models are going to feature 5,870mAh and 3,580mAh batteries respectively.
On the other hand the Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a low-end tablet that has already been launched in India, globally this tablet will cost close to $249. The Galaxy Tab E has a 1,280×800 pixel resolution 9.7 inch TFT LCD display, a 1.3GHz quadcore processor with 1.5GB RAM, 8GB internal storage with microSD card slot and a 5,000mAh battery.
