Galaxy Note 5 Will Have 4GB RAM

Samsung is expected to unveil its next flagship handset in the coming months and already there’s quite a lot of anticipation regarding the Galaxy Note 5. Much has already been said about this device but today a new report has been published which more or less confirms that the Galaxy Note 5 will indeed come with 4GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Note 5 is said to feature an Exynos 7422 SoC from Samsung which will be the company’s first truly single-chip ePOP solution that combines an octacore 64-bit processor with 4GB RAM, GPU, onboard storage and the Shannon 333 LTE modem in one single package.

Samsung’s next flagship handset is also said to come with a 5.67 inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display, a glass back like the Galaxy S6, wireless charging with support for both WPC and PMA standards as well as the S Pen.

It’s interesting to note that this device will also have a glass back, which means that customers should keep in mind that it may not have a removable battery and microSD card slot since the Galaxy S6 doesn’t have them as well.

Galaxy Note 5 will be available in four colors including white, gold, black and silver. It was expected to be launched at IFA this September but recent reports suggest that due to lacklustre sales of the Galaxy S6, Samsung has decided to push the launch to August in order to fend off competition from the new iPhones that are expected to arrive this September.
