Popular note-taking service Evernote has released an update for its Web Clipper browser extension which now allows users to save Gmail messages that have attachments to their accounts so that they can easily bring them up later again when required. The update also adds more new functionality to the browser extension making it much more useful, and since it’s available for multiple browsers millions of users can take advantage of the features that it offers.
The Web Clipper extension from Evernote is now capable of saving Gmail attachments along with the email messages to users’ accounts, enabling users to bring up those notes quickly for future reference.
Evernote’s latest update for the Web Clipper extension also makes it much more useful with services like LinkedIn, Amazon and YouTube, it’s better at saving content from these websites. When users visit any of these websites they’ll find that Web Clipper now lets them save select portions of the page as and when required.
Users also get the ability to annotate clips with visual and text callouts as well as share them with others through the extension itself without having to leave the page they’re browsing.
Evernote’s Web Clipper extension is available for Chrome, Opera and Safari.
