For starters Doogee is a brand based out of China and they are planning on launching a new smartphone by the name of the HomTom. So what so exciting about the device? Probably its selling point, which is a massive 6,250mAh battery that the company plans on stuffing inside the phone.
Yup, you read that right! For most companies, putting a 3,000mAh+ battery in a phone is considered relatively generous, so we have to admit we are curious as to how long a 6,250mAh battery would last. As for its specs, the phone will be powered by MediaTek’s MT6735 processor and will sport a 5.5-inch 720p HD display.
It will also come with a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a custom UI on top. The Doogee HomTom is expected to go on sale in September and while pricing is unknown, chances are it won’t cost you an arm and a leg, at least based on its specs.
