Following the reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s new Zombie mode at the San Diego Comic-Con Activision is now turning its attention towards the much awaited multiplayer beta of this title. It had been previously confirmed that the beta would go live next month but today the publisher has finally confirmed the official Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta release date.
Fans all across the globe will be able to get their hands on the multiplayer beta ahead of the title’s launch later this year. As previously reported PlayStation 4 owners will get exclusive access before anybody else.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 multiplayer beta will be released for PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, August 19 and it will remain exclusive to the console through Sunday, August 23rd.
Gamers on the Xbox One and PC will have to wait until Wednesday, August 26 to get their hands on the multiplayer beta. During the beta fans will be able to try the new momentum-based chained movement system and find the perfect Specialist to fit their play style, get an idea of the new multiplayer maps and much more.
Developer Treyarch Studios will be sharing more details about the multiplayer beta in the days to come, including details about maps, modes and much more. The beta is open to anybody who pre-orders Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC from a participating retailer.
