Call of Duty fans across the globe are waiting for the multiplayer beta to go live and they won’t be very happy unless they have a PlayStation 4. As per the marketing material that was handed out during the game’s event at the San Diego Comic-Con the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta is going to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 for five days. This means by the time it arrives on Xbox, PS4 owners will already have been done with it.
As reported by Call of Duty fan site Charlie Intel a swag bag was handed out to those who attended the “Escape Room Challenge” during the title’s SDCC event. In the bag there was a card that said the beta is a PlayStation 4 exclusive from August 19th to August 23rd.
The card didn’t mention though if access to the multiplayer beta will be provided immediately on August 23rd to players on Xbox One and PC or if players would have to wait for a bit longer.
Those who want to take part in the Black Ops 3 open beta have to pre-order a copy of the game and only then can they access it, the beta goes live for PlayStation 4 owners on August 19th.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on November 6th this year.
