Soon after Batman: Arkham Knight was released last week players on the PlayStation 4 have been unable to access campaign leaderboards due to a bug, it took a while for Rocksteady to acknowledge that this bug existed and that it was working on a fix but now the studio has finally released a patch which fixes the campaign leaderboard bug on the PS4.
Game director Sefton Hill revealed via Twitter that the title has been patched to ensure that leaderboards are up and running once again, it was only on Sunday last week when Rocksteady confirmed that it knew about the bug and that it was working on fixing it.
There’s a leaderboard metagame in Arkham Knight called Gotham’s Greatest, it basically tracks scores of players in various challenges and puts those scores against people on players’ friends lists.
The bug was noticed after about a day of Arkham Knight’s launch and on Sunday Rocksteady confirmed that it was aware of this issue and “investigating solutions.”
It has released a patch with the title now being updated to version 1.03 on the PlayStation 4, users are now reporting that leaderboards are functioning just as they should be.
It’s a completely different story with the PC port which is still riddled with bugs and issues, so much so that sales of the PC port have been suspended until the mess is all sorted out.
