As it turns out not too bad. According to recent numbers put out by the Auriemma Consulting Group (via Pocketnow), it seems that 42% of iPhone owners have used Apple Pay. This is based on a survey involving 500 iPhone 6 and 6 Plus owners. Now you might be thinking that these might be one-off users, but it isn’t.
While that might be true for a small percentage, it was found that 84% of those who used Apple Pay have done so more than on one occasion. It has also been found that 76% have used Apple Pay for purchases within apps as well. That being said, it should be noted that the numbers are more or less the same from earlier this year.
This seems to indicate that while Apple Pay hasn’t seen much growth in adoption, it is at the very least maintaining its figures. Hopefully with the launch of Apple Pay in other countries like the UK, we will start seeing adoption of the payments service rise.
