Amazon, one of the biggest online retailers in the world, has just announced the introduction of popular video game characters in a new format. We are looking at the ability to customize them to be part of the 3D Printed Products store. For those who are interested, you can always start by checking out the brand new “Personalize Now” widget, so that customers are able to customize over 35 of their favorite characters – and we are talking about the likes of the Smite, Primal Carnage and Infinity Blade.
At the 3D Printed Products store, customers will be able to access millions of unique design combinations that are sold by Sandboxr, and these can be created via the personalization tools. While it is still in its early days, this does not mean that 3D Printed Products on Amazon are gimped in some way, as customers can then rely on the power of their imagination to churn out one-of-a-kind items.
Some of the personalization options will include Smite with over 30,000 ways to create customized characters, while Primal Carnage offers over 12,500 customized set framed poses and character options, with Infinity Blade having more than a dozen million combinations (!) for one to personalize the characters via unique poses, armor configurations, weapons and accessories.
