Acer Liquid Leap+ Fitness Tracker Launched Stateside

Acer_Liquid_Leap+_Black_04Earlier this year during MWC 2015, Acer launched a fitness tracker in the form of the Liquid Leap+. The wearable was the successor to last year’s Liquid Leap but unfortunately at the time of launch, it was only announced for the EMA region. Now the good news is that if you were after a relatively inexpensive fitness tracker, Acer has launched the wearable stateside.

The Liquid Leap+ is now available for purchase via Acer’s website where it is priced at $79. It should be noted that the $79 price tag is a limited time offer, meaning that once the deal runs out, it will revert back to its normal price of $99, which we guess still makes it somewhat affordable, but if you can save yourself $20, why not?

Now just in case you missed our earlier announcement, the Acer Liquid Leap+ is a fitness band. It is pretty standard in terms of its features and will provide the wearer with fitness tracking capabilities as well as bringing some smartwatch capabilities to the table, such as notifications from text messages, emails, calendar, and more.

The Liquid Leap+ can also be worn while sleeping where it will be able to monitor the wearer’s sleep patterns. Acer is also boasting a 5-7 day battery life and will play nicely with Android, Windows, and iOS devices as long as there is Bluetooth connectivity.
