ZTE of China has come up with quite a fair number of decent handsets in the past, including flagships of their own, but they have not really managed to break into the US smartphone market in a breakthrough manner. Well, I would like to think that they are keeping their fingers crossed with their latest and upcoming model, known as the ZTE Axon, where it is tipped for a US release some time next month.
In terms of hardware specifications, the ZTE Axon is certainly worth checking out. For starters, it will come with a whopping 4GB RAM – that is definitely a whole lot more than what most smartphones come with these days right out of the box, and it could very well be the new 2GB RAM standard of the future. Apart from that, expect to see not one, but two cameras at the back, in order to have it add a fake bokeh effect. Hopefully more will be revealed at the special event which is set to launch the ZTE Axon this coming 14th of July which will be held in the Big Apple.
Is this a smartphone that you might consider picking up? We have no idea if it will be sold unlocked or ride on a mobile carrier’s package.
