Toshiba today announced new laptops and 2-in-1 hybrids that make up its entire back to school lineup of Windows 10 products. It has introduced a new Satellite C Series model, this particular series is currently the company’s best selling line of notebooks. All of these new products will be released this summer just in time for the back to school season and they will either be running Windows 10 out of the box or be eligible for a free upgrade when the new software arrives.
15.6 and 17.3 inch models are available in the new Series C laptops both of which tout HD TruBright displays. As previously reported both notebooks also have a dedicated Cortana button to bring up Microsoft’s virtual private assistant. These notebooks will start at $349.99.
Toshiba Satellite Fusion is a new line of 2-in-1 notebooks that can double as tablets, the first model simply called Fusion has a 15.6 inch display with up to 12GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive packed into a case that’s less than an inch thick.
Satellite Radius is another notebook and tablet hybrid from Toshiba which offers Harman Kardon stereo speakers as well as an option for a 4K display. Toshiba has also updated the Satellite L series, both models sell for less than $600 and have stereo speakers tuned by Skullcandy.
Last but not the least the company has refreshed its Satellite S series as well with a 4K display option, quadcore and dualcore processor options with up to 2TB in onboard storage.
Toshiba will ship all of the new products over the summer.
