So what about stateside availability? Interestingly enough it looks like Sony might have another variant in the works dubbed the Sony Xperia Z4v, and it looks like the handset will be arriving on Verizon’s network this summer. However it won’t be the same phone as it looks like there have been some slight modifications made.
However one of the more notable changes is the display which is a 5.2-inch QHD display, an upgrade compared to the Full HD version of the Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z3+. That being said there have been some compromises in its design as you can see in the image above. The end result is a phone that will be thicker and heavier than the Xperia Z4.
Will this matter to most users? We suppose it’s hard to say given that none of us will probably get to hold the Xperia Z4, but we’re sure the added weight and thickness can be ignored for its sharper display, right?
